Aussies in London “Easter Bunny Hunt”– Saturday 15th April
The good folks over at Aussies in London (the popular ex-pat social group who organise monthly drinks and special events bringing Aussies together from all over London) are hosting their annual bunny hunt on 15th April, Easter Saturday. It’s a great chance to meet new mates and wander around London doing something ridiculous and fun, and given the prize for the top two ‘bunny detectives’ is the chance to head over to the famous La Tomantina festival in Spain, you may take hunting those bunnies a little more seriously.

InterNations April Newcomers’ Event – 19th April, Sway Bar
InterNations events are a great way to meet fellow Kiwis in London in an informal atmosphere at some of the best bars in town. This month’s get together is hosted at Sway Bar in the heart of the West End. Aimed at new arrivals to London, the night promises a relaxed atmosphere and friendly banter with fellow Kiwis. The entrance fee is typically Kiwi – chocolate, strawberries or easy-peel oranges. Be prepared to share.

Meetup Group – Australian Expats in London Anzac Day Event. Saturday 22nd April – Durham’s pub!
Petria, an expat for a whopping 13 years, hosts this popular Meetup Group and plans are afoot to mark Anzac day with live music and a classic Aussie BBQ, with an act of remembrance to mark the occasion appropriately. Join the group to find out all the details. Expect classic Aussie rock from John the Pom and the chance to expand your social circle.

Kiwis vs. Aussies – Beer Pong, Belushi’s London Bridge, 28th April
The monthly drinks hosted by Kiwis in London downstairs at the awesome Belushi’s in London Bridge has a twist this month. This regular gathering of Aussies and Kiwis alike is known for its high jinx and general madness but this time the organisers are asking for 15 teams of Kiwis and 15 teams of Aussies (2 per team) to pit themselves against each other in a fierce game of beer pong, with the winning team winning points for their country for the London Big Day Out Kiwis vs. Aussies sports day. The pressure is on! Expect great deals on your usual tipples.

The Elk Boozy Brunch, Elk Bar, Fulham – weekends 11-3pm
A brand stonking new deal on your weekend brunch is on offer over at the ever popular Elk Bar.
