Traveling the world is an opportunity not everyone gets to enjoy because of one thing – work. Well, if this is the case, then why not do both at the same time? After all, there are jobs that let you earn money while traveling around the world.
Seafarer
Working as a seafarer may not be all fun and glamour, but it will take you to places you’ve never been before, especially if you sign up for an international vessel or a cruise ship. Sure, the sea may not always be safe and calm, but it also offers a high-paying career for most of the time.
Oil and Gas
Similar to seafaring, working in an oil and gas installation is not easy, much less safe. But because they are often located overseas, you get to travel to places you may not be able to visit if not for employment purposes. While you travel for work reasons, there is always an opportunity to take a break and see the sights, listen to the sounds, and satisfy your taste buds with the local cuisine. Isn’t that what any traveller would do?
Air Hostess
Even when air fares have significantly dropped, not everyone gets to travel as often as an air hostess. For them, flying from one place to another is practically free, and they also get paid for doing so. In some cases, they even get an opportunity to enjoy a layover before the next flight. Most airlines also offer free or discounted flights for their employees, allowing them to bring their family along.
Tour Guide
Because it is part of their job to travel, tour guides get to see the best local attractions in the location that they are assigned to. Although the need to learn about the history and fun facts about a particular attraction, which they have to impart to guests and tourists, is not all fun, the travel opportunity makes all the effort worth it.
